I would love to have one of these old Blizzard servers that the game World of Warcraft used to run on. Back in the day, a realm used to run on one of these bad boys. I need one of these servers for nostalgic reasons. And of course to mess around with to get my own private server running! 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qak6a9alQB8

This video is only funny if you are in ICT and also familiar with the TV-show Breaking Bad.

Our guild Vliegende Hollanders (Trollbane-EU) has recently decided to team up with Shadow Army (Aerie Peak-EU) to combine our resources and manpower to make some progress in the new Tomb of Sargeras raid, and it was a very successful evening. I uploaded a compilation to YouTube for those very few people that are interested in watching it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SI33vBXFsj4

He’s back! And I mean, HE’S REALLY BACK! Hans Teeuwen performs a show for an audience of Brits and it works. It is great to see. And FUCK YEAH we’re Dutch! See us damned! And FUCK THE FRENCH! Oh that feels good. Very therapeutic. Oh, it’s on Netflix by the way. So go and see that!

If you want IPv6 disabled permanently on an Ubuntu 16.04 system, here’s a good way to do it. Disabling it like this should keep it disabled permanently, even after performing updates that could potentially enable it again without you knowing it. I haven’t tested it, so I’m not 100% certain, but if you decide to upgrade Ubuntu to 16.10 or the most recent version, it should still have ipv6 disabled…

Today, I found out that my dad has NOT seen Breaking Bad (yet). Even though I mentioned the show numerous times to both my parents and tried to convince them to at least try and see for themselves if they would like it or not. The fact that my dad has never done so, is, as you will all understand, totally unacceptable. Now I know that he’s mostly just interested…

I own a Cisco WAP321 wireless access point, and it’s a pretty neat device because it allows you to create multiple different (separated) Wi-Fi networks. For home use, that option is not really very interesting. Well unless you want guests in your house to use a different Wi-Fi network so that they won’t stumble upon your file server and find your huge collection of ‘out of the ordinary’ weird, cheap,…

MP4Box is a multimedia packager, with a vast number of functionalities: conversion, splitting, hinting, dumping and others. It can be used for performing many manipulations on multimedia files like AVI, MPG, TS, but mostly on ISO media files (e.g. MP4, 3GP). It is a command-line tool so it can be utilized by scripts like the PHP script that I want to use. MP4Box is included in the GPAC package.

Finally!! I’ve found a new show to binge. It’s been a while since I did some serious binging. Might be weeks, perhaps even months! Hallelujah Netflix, praise you internet, thank you mother Data for bringing me Fresh Meat. British shows always need a bit more time to warm up to. I believe this is because British shows usually choose to let the viewers get acquainted with the characters because that…

Jules Deelder at his “best” at talk show Jinek. It’s worth watching the complete show because it’s an adventure for all the other guests right from the start till the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LndxbuGQdI
