Recently, on November 29th to be specific, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of this website and its domain name. We believe this is quite a memorable milestone, and we're going to celebrate this remarkable achievement. There are a couple of things we did to commemorate our anniversary, and you can read all about it here.
If you are a returning visitor, you may have already noticed a complete overhaul of the website's appearance. Before, we always used a rather generic, inexpensive theme, made by a third party, used by many other websites out there. This is no longer the case, because now you're looking at a 100% unique, tailor made, custom theme, entirely made by our lovely selves, from absolute scratch! We used Oxygen Builder for WordPress to achieve this, in case you're wondering. It took many more hours to complete than we had anticipated, but we're very happy, and proud, with the end results. Hopefully you will also consider it to be a big improvement. What do you think? (For now, the website performs best in desktop mode. Work still in progress!)
Now that we've reached the respectable age of twenty-five, it seems like a good moment to look back, and reflect. But mostly just to look back. We thought it would be fun if we could bring a handful of old versions of this website back online. Even the very first version, that was made almost a quarter of a century ago. Luck has it, that recently, by accident and completely unexpected, a backup was found containing earlier versions of this website. We always considered them to simply be lost in time, not knowing that a these backups existed. Exploring the contents of these backups was really exciting, and reviving these websites back to life was the obvious choice. After a bit of fiddling around, a handful of these prehistoric websites are now back online! Digital preservation at its finest!

This page also tells a lengthy story of the entire history of the website, starting all the way back in November of the year 2000.
