If you are not a World of Warcraft player you should stop reading right now because this post will probably not make any sense to you. I’ve decided to embark on a quest to find Leeroy. He’s not dead yet so he’s got to be somewhere! I will start where the Terminator also started his quest; in the phone-book registry. So let’s start making some calls! I will post the results here soon (press read more below for them once I’ve added them)
The calls didn’t go at all as I had hoped for but that’s my own bad because I didn’t prepare anything. Again… I sometimes think I have some serious preparation issues because I’ve been told plenty of times now that I wasn’t prepared. This pattern can no longer be ignored. I must prepare more! Doing all this made me feel like a kid again for a shot moment so that in itself made doing this totally worth it.
Below is a small tribute to the famous original video where Leeroy wipes the whole group after being AFK to get some chicken. I think I’ve seen this video at least 10 times over the last 10 years and I’m certain that it will become 11 right after posting this. This video that went viral played a major part in how WoW became so immensely popular. The Southpark episode also of course. They have both been the best and FREE marketing for Blizzard and they didn’t even have to do anything for it. Damn you Blizzard! It would be very nice of you to acknowledge this
